An Trodaí agus dánta eile/The Warrior and Other Poems

Cló Iar-Chonnachta, 2006

In this bilingual poetry collection, Dairena Ní Chinnéide introduces the persona of The Warrior/An Trodaí, a woman of contrasts, 'full of weakness and fierceness at once'. She craves love but fears betrayal; she is defiant but seeks to be understood; she is a modern woman but appreciates the importance of tradition.
