Passion Play
Cónal Creedon's début novel re-enacts the Passion of Christ in Cork through his character Pluto, who embelmatically suffers the pain incurred by a people undergoing great cultural and economic change. It is a tale that is funny and sad at the same time, with very real implications for the New Ireland.
