This is a reissued collection of introductory essays on Irish poetry from 1900 to the present by some of the best-known names in contemporary Irish poetry (Eavan Boland, Ciaran Carson, Seamus Heaney, Thomas Kinsella, Michael Longley, John Montague, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Bernard O’Donoghue and Cathal Ó Searcaigh).
