Literature Ireland's Translation Grant programme invites international publishers to apply for a contribution towards the translation of Irish literature from English or Irish into another language. For 30 years now, Literature Ireland's archive has housed copies of these awarded books!
In December we received copies of 9 titles in 7 languages:

- Colm Tóibín’s “Long Island” in Romanian translated by Cristina Nicolae (@humanitas_fiction)
- Ferdia Lennon’s “Glorious Exploits" in Romanian translated by Mihaela Buruiană / @mihaelamburuiana (@humanitas_fiction)
- Seán Hewitt's “Open, Heaven" in French translated by Aline Azoulay-Pacvoñ (@robert_laffont)
- Claire Keegan's “Foster; So Late in the Day" in Estonian translated by Krista Kaer (Päikese Kirjastus oü)
- Sebastian Barry's “The Temporary Gentleman" in Polish translated by Agnieszka Walulik / @agu_walulik (@artragepl)
- Doireann Ní Ghríofa's “A Ghost in the Throat” in Macedonian translated by Aleksanda Spaseska /Александра Спасеска / @aleksandrina_vezilka (@ilika.publishing)
