The Dark Fields

Alan Glynn

Eddie Spinola is a copywriter at a small publishing house in New York City. He starts using MDT-48, an experimental designer drug granting heightened intellectual, creative, and learning powers. Eddie's not the only one addicted to MDT, but now that his dealer is dead, he's the only one with a supply. While the drug is helping Eddie make the kind of money he's only dreamed about, he's also beginning to suffer the side effects: blinding headaches, violent outbursts, ominous blackouts. And when Eddie tries to trace the other users, he discovers the terrifying truth.
