Literature written in Irish was the focus of the 22nd Vilenica Literary Festival in 2007. In order to highlight this rich tradition, the festival organisers - the Slovene Writers' Association - released an anthology that contains prose and poetry in the Irish language by 17 authors, including Micheál Ó Conghaile, Seán Mac Mathúna, Dara Ó Conaola, Pádraic Breathnach, Alan Titley, Daithí Ó Muirí, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Cathal Ó Searcaigh, Gabriel Rosenstock, Biddy Jenkinson, Celia de Fréine, Louis de Paor, Gearóid Mac Lochlainn, Colm Breathnach, Tomás Mac Síomóin, Paddy Bushe, and Dairena Ní Chinnéide.
