Paula Meehan

Poet and playwright Paula Meehan was born in Dublin and is a graduate of Trinity College. Her poetry collections include: Return and No Blame, Reading the Sky, The Man Who was Marked by Winter, Pillow Talk, Mysteries of the Home, Dharmakaya, and Six Sycamores. Meehan has received many awards, including the Marten Toonder Award for Literature, The Butler Literary Award for Poetry, the Denis Devlin Memorial Award and the PPI Award for Radio Drama. Some of her poems have been translated into Polish, Estonian and Galician with the support of ILE. She is a member of Aosdána and lives in Dublin.
