Molloy

Samuel Beckett

This is the first novel in Samuel Beckett's mordant and exhilarating trilogy written in the late 1940s. It introduces Molloy, who has been mysteriously incarcerated, and who subsequently escapes to discover the whereabouts of his mother. A certain Jacques Moran is deputized by anonymous authorities to search for him.
