John O'Donoghue

1955 - 2008

Born in County Clare, John O'Donoghue studied at the National University of Ireland in Maynooth and later completed a Ph.D. in philosophical theology at the University of Tübingen, Germany. He is the author of three bestselling books on Celtic spirituality, Anam Cara (1998), Eternal Echoes (2000) and Benedictus (2007), as well as of two collections of poetry. John O'Donoghue died suddenly in Southern France in January 2008.
