Ian Somers

In 2011, Ian Somers was offered a three book deal with the O’Brien Press. The first of these novels, Million Dollar Gift was released in May 2012. This novel is now part of the official Junior Certificate Curriculum in the Republic of Ireland, has sold translation rights in a number of territories, and was nominated for the prestigious Sakura Medal Award 2015. The sequels, The Hidden Gift and The Secret Gift were released in March 2013 and September 2014 respectively and have also now sold translation rights. Somers lives in County Dublin.
