Declan Burke

Born in Sligo, Ireland, Declan Burke is the author of four novels: Eightball Boogie (2003) Slaughter's Hound (2012), Absolute Zero Cool (2011), all of which were shortlisted in the crime fiction category for the Irish Book Awards, and The Big O (2008). Crime Always Pays, a comedy crime caper, was published by Severn House in 2014. He is also the editor of Down These Green Streets (2011), a collection of essays, interviews and short fictions about the rise of Irish crime writing.
