Anne Bernard-Kearney

Anne Bernard-Kearney was born in Paris of an Irish mother and a French father. She has translated Irish poets, including Seamus Heaney, into French and French poets into English, and has published articles in Irish and French journals on the role of women in culture. She is also a professional artist.

She lives in Boston, Massachusetts, where she teaches French and Core English part-time in Boston College, Department of Romance Languages and Literatures.
