Aisling Maguire was born in Dublin in 1958. Her short fiction has appeared in several anthologies, including Raven Introductions 4 (1986), The Dolmen Book of Short Stories (1986), The Blackstaff Book of Short Stories (1988 & 1991), and in Figures in a Landscape: Writing from Ireland (1995).
